8fit is a German based series B fitness app start-up, with €20 million in revenues, millions of customers mainly across US, UK and LATAM. Strategic buyout by Withings in 2022.

  • To provide fractional CMO leadership during a highly disruptive time from a business and team perspective whilst troubleshooting and being hands-on with the marketing team.

  • 100% office based. Relocated to Berlin for the project:

    1. Performed deep performance audit and identified inefficient spend as well as growth opportunities, completing with an actionable roadmap.

    2. Introduced and championed a stabilisation strategy and achieved spend efficiencies, profitable customer segments, channel and creative optimisation.

    3. Streamlined reporting and processes to create much needed meaningful visibility across marketing business growth levers.

    1. Extended runway from 10 months to 24 months by cutting efficient marketing spend.

    2. Restructured marketing team of 30 people down to 15 and brought paid + content + creative + production + growth + CRM into one strategic vision.

    3. Introduced a bottom up planning and forecast methodology, resulting in 95% forecast accuracy.
